Cable Harness Tester

MICROTEST Cable Harness Tester is an all-in-one unit that combines continuity impedance, open/short circuit, resistance value, safety compliance withstand voltage insulation, and component testing functions. It supports test channels with options for 64/128/256/512/1024 points, with a maximum AC withstand voltage of 1000V and DC withstand voltage of up to 1500V. This versatile tool is used for testing electrical characteristics of wires, connectors, PCB/FPC, and more, and it comes with PC connectivity software.

8761/8761K series employs four-wire testing technology to measure the continuity between connector points, avoiding measurement errors caused by excessive fixture wiring.

8740/8740K series uses two-wire testing technology to measure the continuity between connector points.

8761NAC is a specialized testing solution for USB Type-C products. It supports connector loop orientation recognition, facilitating short-circuit testing for USB Type-C connectors. It can test protective components such as RA resistors and filter capacitors to ensure the stability of E-Marker ICs. It comes with a 2-in-1 current source expansion box FX-000C28 for performing 5A voltage drop tests and reading E-Marker IC VDO Codes.

It offers a maximum AC withstand voltage of 700V and a maximum DC withstand voltage of 1000V. It is equipped with the FX-000C28 2-in-1 current source expansion box, which provides the capability to perform Continuity Test, open/short circuit, safety withstand voltage insulation, RA resistance, and filtering capacitor tests on USB Type-C cables/connectors. By selecting the FX-000C28 2-in-1 current source expansion box, it is possible to conduct 5A voltage drop internal resistance testing and VDO code reading for E-Marker IC on USB Type-C cables.
